Desert Rose Design has been selected as a 2009 honoree in The Business Ledger’s
10th annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Award (EEA) program.
The Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards were designed to recognize entrepreneurship
in suburban Chicago, honoring individuals and organizations that have displayed
the values of entrepreneurship, foster the entrepreneurial spirit and encourage
an atmosphere that promotes new ideas.
The EEA is divided into eight categories: Early Stage, Growth, Innovation, Lifetime
Achievement, Minority Entrepreneur, Outstanding Service to Entrepreneurs, Regional
Spirit and Young Entrepreneur. Overall, 19 companies were selected as honorees.
Desert Rose Design received the award in the Growth category.
Along with recipients from their respective categories, Desert Rose Design was honored
at a special awards ceremony on September 24, 2009 at the Danada House in Wheaton.
