Desert Rose Design recently sponsored the Bold Moves for Bold Women event
by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, donating our services to provide all graphic design
needs for the event.
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago is one of the most renowned dance institutions in the
world, featuring dancers who display unparalleled versatility and virtuosity in
performances that inspire, challenge and engage audiences worldwide.
Bold Moves for Bold Women is a women’s networking event that took place on
April 1, 2009. A reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres began at the elegant
Fairmont Chicago, followed by the Spring Series Opening Night performance by HSDC
at the Harris Theater.
Kathy Steele (Vice President of Desert Rose) and Lauren Trela (Director of Business
Development at Desert Rose) both served on the Host Committee for the event as well.
Other event sponsors included Baker & McKenzie, Tiara, House Red, AthletiCo and
Laura Mercier.
Proceeds from the event went to support the dancers of HSDC and the nationally recognized
education and outreach programs.
