Helen Levinson Speaks at MSVP Conference

Elmhurst, IL (September 22, 2011) Helen Levinson was chosen to speak at the Microsoft Vendor Program MSVP Summit, which takes place on September 27-29 in Redmond, WA.

Desert Rose Design Selected as Microsoft Preferred Vendor Desert Rose Design went through a stringent review process and was selected as a Microsoft-preferred vendor in 2010. Helen has become an expert in navigating and understanding the perks and challenges of this prestigious status.

"Being selected as a Microsoft vendor is a monumental accomplishment for our firm," said Helen Levinson, principal. "As an owner, I know that my team is extremely talented, but receiving this honor solidifies their brilliance and skill.”

In 2010, Helen participated in a request for information (RFI) process, representing Desert Rose Design. Out of 500 initial prospective vendors, only 16 were chosen to be part of the Microsoft Vendor Program (MSVP) in the digital marketing category. Along with the ability to bid for Microsoft request for proposals (RFPs) on digital related projects, MSVP-participating companies have the opportunity to provide innovative solutions and support based on their service category.

After gaining MSVP engagement, Desert Rose Design won an RFP to develop an internal global sales specialist community site.

Helen explains to program participants that innovative approaches to projects are necessary to success as a Microsoft preferred vendor. “Being a resource to your clients is critical. They should be able to lean on you, and you should go beyond their expectations to provide something truly innovative.”
